This is one of the most beautiful and touching stories (for readers of any age) that I have ever seen. Each page - each illustration is a story itself where you can get lost in the beauty and details. Teamed up with such a sweet story of love and adventure, it is a book that you will want to share with everyone you know. And for all of you that were "grandpa's girl" you need to get this to relive your own memories (but be warned, the end will make you cry, in all the best ways).

The gorgeous paintings on each page beckon you into the magical world of a young girl, a world of all possibilities and endless imagination. The paintings alone are exquisite. And somehow, the author and artist of this masterpiece - Lori Preusch - adds the most beautiful, rhyming prose that perfectly match the energy of each image. Lovely, lovely book! The art is so delightful that I found myself lingering over every page (and re-reading the book already). The art is whimsical, beautiful, inspiring, and inspired. I love how the artist wove the humble mailbox into a series of entertaining adventures (including an airplane flight!). The book carries a wonderful message, of how adventure and "travel" can come through the post (and really, more generally, by connecting with other people - the mail is just the medium).
